Penguin Chiller Cold Therapy Chiller

Product Description

Imagine experiencing the transformative power of cold therapy without the constant hassle of managing ice. That’s the reality with the Penguin Chillers Cold Therapy Chiller. This innovative system utilizes a powerful 3/4 HP design to keep your ice bath refreshingly cold (low to mid 40s°F) for extended periods, so that even in hot weather you can count on your cold bath being consistently cool.

Say goodbye to:

  • The constant need to buy and replenish ice, disrupting your recovery routine.
  • Inconsistent water temperatures that compromise the effectiveness of your cold therapy.
  • The time and effort wasted managing ice, taking away from the benefits of cold therapy.

Embrace the benefits of:

  • Effortless cold therapy: Simply set your desired temperature and let the chiller do the work and enjoy a consistent, pre-chilled plunge whenever you need it.
  • Reduced maintenance: Cold water helps control bacterial growth, minimizing the need for frequent water changes and cleaning. Spend less time maintaining your cold therapy setup and more time experiencing the benefits.
  • More time for recovery: With the Penguin Chillers Cold Therapy Chiller, you can focus on what truly matters – optimizing your recovery and well-being.

Here’s what makes the Penguin Chillers Chiller the perfect choice:

  • Powerful and Efficient: The 3/4 HP chiller delivers exceptional cooling capacity (7,500 BTU/hr) while remaining energy-efficient (estimated cost: $18-$28/month at $0.12/kWh).
  • Easy Setup and Use: The chiller includes a built-in pump and all necessary fittings for a seamless installation. Simply connect the hoses to your cold therapy tub and plug it in.
  • Durable Design: Built with high-quality components and a corrosion-resistant exterior, this chiller is built to last, so you can enjoy years of reliable cold therapy with the Penguin Chillers Chiller.
  • Quiet Operation: Experience a peaceful cold therapy experience with the chiller’s quiet operation (65 dBA). Relax and focus on recovery without any unwanted noise.
  • Safe and Reliable: The chiller features a GFCI-protected power cord and is rainproof for outdoor use (drain and disconnect when temperatures fall below freezing).
  • Made in Tennessee: We take pride in manufacturing our chillers with American quality.

Optional Installation Kit:

  • Attachable filter canister with a washable/reusable 150-micron filter
  • 2 x 6′ lengths of 3/4″ ID black vinyl tubing
  • 2 x Bulkheads and hose clamps for tank connection. **The bulkheads in this kit will only work if the wall of the tub is 1/4” or less.

Maximize your cold therapy experience with the Penguin Chillers Chiller.

Please Note:

  • The pump is not self-priming. Ensure the chiller is positioned below the water level of your cold therapy tub for optimal performance.
  • An overly long tubing run from the tub drain to the chiller inlet may reduce pump efficiency.

  • 3/4 HP Cold Therapy Chiller with built-in pump
  • Quick connect fittings for tubing installation (tubing sold separately)
  • Inline screen for filtering debris

For any questions or assistance with setup, please contact our friendly customer support team at support@penguinchillers.com

Please note your setup needs to gravity prime to the pump, the pump is not capable of self priming/suction.

Place the chiller within 3′ of the drain of your tub, the bottom of the chiller should be at the same or lower height compared to the bottom of your tub – do not elevate the chiller above the tub.

An overly long tubing run from the tub drain to the chiller inlet may cause the pump to fail to move enough water.
